this is why you let the draft come to you, for fantasy football

12 team std league, I was picking 3rd and took 5 rb's with the first 6 picks (kept falling)

qb's ryan, romo
rb's charles, ball, morris, martin, ellington, hyde
wr's cobb, floyd (arizona), colston, jennings
te rudolph, kelce
d panthers
kicker crosby

- homiedclown

Kelce will be this years surprise TE
Great pick

That came from the same source that also said Pegula's bid was in excess of $1.2 billion when it's not even close to that. I'm not so sure they're planning one so much as they've merely brainstormed.

With The Improvements at the Ralph . I think we can get another 10 years out of it now.

Have you seen the improvements in person? I was there yesterday and outisde of the new video boards the renovations are a joke. They've a actually made the fan experience worse if that was even possible. Nail in the coffin, Buffalo is a hockey town.

I dont believe you.
- hawk33

last 6 picks were 2 qbs, jennings, d, kicker and kelce

not sure why you wouldn't believe it, players fall in every real draft
there is always a stupid person who takes manning with the first rd pick and then drafts a qb with their third rd pick

rookies fill their starting lineup before they draft a single person for their bench

fans draft players from their favorite teams 2 to 3 rounds early

I play 25 to 30 leagues a year, at some point you can bank on stupid things happening before your picks

I was there , seemed improved to me . They are not done yet . Maybe I am not as fussy as most . I don't feel the need for the taxpayers to have to come up with a billion dollars for a new stadium yet .

my 3 sleepers this year are freeman, benjamen and kelce
I really wanted kelce in my other money draft today but gronk fell to me in the 4th and cameron was still their in the 10th
hyde was a sleeper as well, but the word is out on him and he is usually gone by the 10th rd now

I got Justin Hunter in all 4 of my leagues pretty late.

I have Marshall, Stafford, Cobb and Forte on my one team.

They over thought everything. They got rid of the beer carts and serve them strictly at the food stations(except ones at the entrance which were far from the seats). The food lines pushed to the back wall now to the lower bowl concourse is nearly impassible. It was single file people against the back wall trying to get by while people on that same wall were putting condiments on thier hot dogs. Meanwhile security personelle were trying to get through. And this was kids day, where only maybe 58-60 actually showed up and there were minimal drunks. Wait till the real thing. If they don't change it will be a nightmare.

This team will be Regier's for a long long time.

Ennis, Hodgson, Myers, Zadorov, Ristolainen, Armia, Girgensons, Hodgson, McCabe and Pysyk are all "Regier People." You can even argue Moulson and Reinhart are Regier guys. Without that Vanek trade Moulson would have never been enticed to sign here. Reinhart wouldn't have been here without the hard work by Regier to dismantle this team. Next years Islanders picks are all because of Regier also.

can't argue with you, jammer...I will say this, though...imo, darcy's influence upon the draft ended with the Grigorenko pick...the rest of that draft seemed to be more about devine and his scouting staff...the 2013 draft, if you watch the "beyond blue and gold segment," is all about devine

but Regier shouldn't be forgotten in all this

I don't either, but it's not about whether the fans and citizens of Buffalo "need" a new stadium, and it never was. It's about the NFL owners demanding that markets like Buffalo contribute more to the revenue sharing pot. Right now, Buffalo is looked upon almost like a welfare entity. I'm not convinced that a new stadium changes this, but the reality is, the owners feel it does, and they have the clout to make it happen, and then some. Otherwise, they'll go somewhere else.

On the other side of this one, Rolston was Regier's man and he would have destroyed players one by one, like he did Myers & Grigorenko. So good riddance.

This market could never afford private seat licenses that others demand . I am sure Green Bay will not build the money hogs a new stadium . Even if they moved the team Toronto . The folks in Toronto will not pay for a new stadium . I have been in a lot of the stadiums in my former career . It is unrealistic to think all markets can afford these new stadiums.

how does a new stadium change television revenue, which is the driving force in the nfl?

I partially agree, but the NFL owners don't think that way, and never have. They think that a city should either attempt to generate those revenues, or move the team to a market that can. Also, if the Buffalo News article is to believed, a new stadium might lure Toronto businesses to buy the seat licenses in a new downtown stadium. They're thinking is partially correct. If the type of revenue they want is to come from a new Buffalo Bills stadium, it would have to come from Toronto, because Buffalo doesn't have anywhere close to that kind of business environment, and won't for at least another decade, and that's if everything ends up as optimistically as we all hope it does. I just don't think a new stadium all of a sudden raises eyebrows in Toronto.

I think id take fitz over ej at this point. Least fitz aired it out instead of these lame 5 yard passes. I think fitz with sammy and williams could of been pretty solid

I don't think it really does (it might, but I have no idea how it would). The cynics are correct. This is about greed. It's about getting every team to drive ticket costs and PSL's as high as conceivably possible, because it's all revenue divided among the 30 franchises. The idea is that if Buffalo or any other market contributes more to the revenue sharing pot than it does, it doesn't look as bad. The TV revenue is definitely the biggest item in revenue sharing, but what the Jerry Jones' and the Robert Krafts of the league don't like is the fact that the Cowboys and Patriots bring in more revenue from the "everything else" besides the TV deal, but teams like the Bills end up with the same amount of money as they do from the TV deal.

that's the problem with fans...and this isn't directed at you personally...fans and media-types (Schopp comes to mind) were besides themselves as they railroaded fitz out of town..

fans and media-types (Jeremy White comes to mind) were besides themselves clamoring for the Bills to pick a "franchise qb" in the first round...

well...fitz is gone, ej was picked in the first round and the bills even got themselves another high pick in the deal (kiko Alonso)...

and, once again, fickle fans are impatient, and ready to run the qb, coaches and front office out of town...

fans should stick to fantasy football...

rant over.

are they doing the same thing to the packers?...or am I comparing apples and oranges...

and...what's the difference if you have x amount of revenue from team like Buffalo with 66,000/gm average (2013) and minimal psl/corporate seats and the same amount from a team like Oakland with 50,000/gm average with more expensive seating, psl's and corporate seats?

If you believe the pundits, there are Milwaukee businesses in Green Bay with those PSL's and luxury boxes that they renovated. I have no idea how true that really is.

I also think Oakland is another target. They're also being pressured to build a new stadium...or move to LA.
