I mean Ryan McDonough is a lock for the Norris this year so I'll exclude him from this but I am pretty sure most people would take our young up and coming defence man over the rangers and where the rangers not pretty bare up front until Hayes signed there like less then a week ago lol and although I am high on him there is still way more to dislike then like about that kid who dominated a league in his last eligible year at 22 years old lol so many over agers have great years in jr and never get a look but it's different if you go the college route ?

Sorry we didn't need to sign anyone as flashy and Cammy and we aren't trying to sign 20 forwards and hope 12 of them equal a playoff berth, we also signed Lombardi, Boyle and Hayes FYI

To be fair, the Rangers have almost been as bad at drafting as the Devils have since 2000. The only first round picsk the Rangers have that have mad an impact are Staal and Kreider and JT Miller will be playing this year. They have done good past the first round in drafting these players:

Callahan
Dubinsky
Stepan
Hagelin
Anisimov
Lundqvist
Zidlicky

I excluded Fast because he hasn't played yet. But the Devils have been drafting players since 08/09 that have or are starting to make an impact. And actually I looked at the players we drafted since 2000 and we have just as many that played for us and now are making an impact on other teams that the Rangers have.

Dorsett wasn't that much of an upgrade to what Glass brings, plus Dorsett is a UFA next season and players like him are now making $2M a year. Glass is cheaper and only a slight downgrade.

boyle who is 38 and is slowing down and had one of the sharks worst +/- on a strong team......who is replacing stralman
