go-to emoticon.

also, peanut butter cap'n crunch, reeses puffs, or grape nuts with a ton of sugar dumped on it to cancel out the healthy aspect.

May be a bit late on the cereal conversation, but the French Toast Crunch that was shaped like toast is my all time favorite.

If I'm out of line to make a suggest well, my apologies. I'm not above admitting when I'm wrong. At the same time, I'm also not above listening to your followers. Maybe I was getting the impression you were running out of ideas, with the "Quick hits" you sometimes need to provide. I've also missed a blog here and there because...it's summer. With this said I haven't ignored that you've prided a blog daily. I'm just throwing an idea at you because I respect your opinion. Like said in my first sentence of the days, I wasn't meaning to come off disrespectful, I just didn't know any other way to say what I wanted to say.

So...how bout this. You have your opinion...fine. But we are blessed with the best blogger on this site who also happens to be a passionate, die-hard fan that grew up with this team. That being said, Bill is very balanced and objective. Aside from having to come up with a daily blog for us hockey zombies in the middle of the off season, he does the same thing for the Dallas Stars on a daily basis...quite admirably I might add. This current roster has been sliced, diced, and put through the bass-o-matic a thousand times already and there isn't much left to say. Unless you want to start all over again with the same stuff. So, if you think this is a puff piece just to keep people reading his blog, that's on you. It still is quality work that encapsulates a piece of Flyers history. Sorry if you don't have a frame of reference because you aren't from the Delaware Valley (that's the greater Philly area in case you were wondering) but it is still Germaine to the team and the subjects at hand. Not many bloggers have such a deep and tenured perspective. One of the things that makes Flyers fans who we are are the stories about our history and legacies from prior generations.

10 Serious Predictions for the upcoming Flyers season

1. Sean Couturier has a breakout year, topping 20 goals and 50 points and is a finalist for the Selke Trophy

2. Brayden Schenn, playing well throughout the first half of the season, is traded in January, along with AMac in a deal for a legit top pair defenseman.

3. VLC, starts the season on Giroux's right wing, and is moved back to center following the Schenn deal. He is moved, along with a 5th round pick, at the deadline for a 3rd round pick to a playoff bound team desperate for help at center.

4. Laughton starts the season in the minors, is brought up following the Schenn deal and finishes the season centering the 3rd line.

5. MDZ plays ok, but finishes the year as a spare dman as Ghost comes up in February and takes his spot.

6. Kimmo Timonen officially announces his retirement at the end of the season.

7. Raffl has a nice second year, finishing with 10-12 goals and 25-30 points while becoming a mainstay on the PK.

8. The Flyers finish with 95 points and come in 5th in a very tough Metro division. They make the playoffs as the 8th seed.

9. They open the playoffs on the road against a surprise Tampa club that just edges out Boston for top spot in the East. They go on to shock a lot of folks by upsetting the Lightning in 7 games as Steve Mason has a monster series.

10. The Flyers season comes to a close with a hard fought 7 game loss in the 2nd round versus the Bruins.
