Zero chance Shanny leaves. Why would he leave just because Lewieke brought him in? They barely worked together. the guy has a great job so many in hockey would love. - RogerRoeper
its not Shanny that would leave but in theory the person the hires the team president (aka the CEO) might want to make that change.
I am sure the next CEO would see Shanahan is the best possible person to be the teams president |

I hope it does but sinec Shanny has been hired, he Leafs have been doing some really great things. As a HAbs fan I would like to see that end ASAP. |

Not thrilled that Leiweke is leaving. I was excited of the direction the Leafs were going. - Conquest
All people in this town did was make fun of the guy from day one. He thought he was coming to a world class sports town but he quickly found out how big of a joke this town and its sports fan are.
The people in this town just tear you down for no reason. Even Leiweke couldn't come in and stand the weight of 40 years of losing.
He cant answer for it. No one can. We just keep building it up and piling it onto the next guy. This situation is not solvable and really just a revolving table.
History will keep on repeating itself. |

I don't recall people making fun of him at all, besides planning the parade of course.

Agreed I think most in the city welcomed him-especially the TFC fans. I wonder if this is an issue with the board. If it is, MLSE has a much bigger problem on their hands.

The screen grab of this blog makes it look like Mr. Rimer is on that island Homer was exiled to when he made up stories as, Mr. X. |
