I like this blog. it's good. It clearly states how stupid media are at times. Thorton will never be a 4th liner and he's making an ass of himself by saying so. But sense he's a forth liner let us offer up a couple of late picks for him. no doubt san jose will jump at the offer sense he's clearly going to play in the AHL next year

I think it also had something to do with his cousin, Nonis, becoming the GM of the team that he roots for. Ever since then, he would try to make players sound better or worse than they really are depending on if the Leafs were trying to acquire or dispose of said player.
