Most of the shet you will learn is based on on the job stuff anyway. Plus any upgrade courses offered by where ever you work.

You don't need the school building to learn.

You don't need the Bible or Koran to learn morals or read parables of ethics. these are only relevant because people decided they were.

what relevance is a painting? Only what you make of it.

Most of the stuff out there is irrelevant...sports...useless in the grand scheme. bodybuilding...waste of time only desirable by meatheads. Music, basically a passing fancy of a generation or few.

Everything is irrelevant except by those that wish it to be relevant to them.

I will try and dumb it down for you since you posted something as stupid as "you don't need the school building to learn". IF there was no Star Wars, you would still get up, go to work and live your life. If there were no schools, life would be extremely difficult for every parent trying to home school their children, as well as how many uneducated and illiterate people there would be in society. Sports, bodybuilding, those are real things. Movie's are not. The very fact you stereotype all body builders as meatheads, shows you are on the defensive, and attacking them with an insult, just shows a level of insecurity. I don't really have time to go into the benefits that sports have to a person's physical, mental and psychosocial health, which far outweigh any benefit that a movie has.

Kiss is one of those bands that I sorta like....but I could give you about a 1000 reasons why they suck and zero reasons why I like them....aside from being kinda catchy and fun.

Argument from Authority. Giving diagnosis is not what you are being educated to do. You are a nurse, you treat based on the diagnosis of those that were educated to give them, namely doctors.

Stop trying to make it something it isn't, and sensationalizing what actually occurred. Star Wars sucks, and you are a butt hurt fanboy who can't handle that someone thinks a movie sucks. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. You don't learn intimate knowledge of A & P, pharmacology, and disease processes unless you take the initiative to do so. On the job training does (frank) all for the BSc I am working towards, by taking extra classes and applying them to said degree. Sure I can take a nail care course to allow me to trim a diabetics toenails. You are aware that B.C. and Alberta do have different policies when it comes to healthcare right? An LPN in B.C. that took the one year program, cannot come to Alberta and work as an LPN. There are different educational programs, in different provinces.
