He was below average with them anyways. He wasn't worth the 2nd round pick that the jets gave up for him.
He would be an ok 3rd liner on a deep team, he will struggle on the flames like he did with the jets. He's on a dirt cheap contract so he won't hurt the flames, if anything they can move him at the deadline to a contender for a late pick |

My thoughts exactly. He was good on the sharks because he was used as a third liner and had some pp time. He's not a top 6 forward. It's a cheap deal for Calgary but they shouldn't hope he is the saving grace for their team.
