Hey guy,

Here's the attendance records:

Tell your friend he's a moron and then go cry about it in that empty barn the Islanders call a home

I stopped getting into these arguments back in high school over 20 years ago but for old times sake you do realize that those numbers are based on tickets sold and not actually attends the games right? So for arguments sake lets say A bank buys 5,000 seats and on the night of the game only 2,500 hundred of those seats are used they still list it as 5,000 attended even though it was half that. In those so called dark years for you guys the attendance was always listed as 18,000 plus when in reality there were plenty of empty seats in the garden. I think that was his point. The place wasn't empty by no means but it wasn't packed every night either. Such a stupid argument anyway. Kids have these types of arguments

Yeah and I'm a kid at heart . Plus I did say they sold out they just didn't show up. The garden was empty with paid seats. The "Ranger faithful" were so "faithful" they didn't show up for a game they already paid for. Either they don't want to remember or they weren't old enough yet to know that this is in fact the way it was.

Makes sense. I wouldn't think a team coming off a stanley cup finals appearance would just guarantee some unknown a top 6 spot just for signing with them.
- Vukota

It's a good signing. No risk. They don't have much in the prospect department. I don't know how anyone can see a problem with it really?

Nothing confirmed yet. I can't say I would blame him although I think it will reduce his chances of making money in the future. He'll have that Radulov stink on him.

I know. I just love when a Ranger fan that wasn't even going through puberty yet starts spouting off about how Islander fans only show up when they're winning after what this team and it's fans have been through for twenty years. That Garden is empty when that team isn't winning. Anyone old enough knows it. We've all seen it. They've had a good run for a number of years now but if they miss the playoffs three years in a row and are flailing the beginning of that fourth year you bet your a$$ you could hear crickets in that place. Biggest bunch of band wagon fans on the planet. That team loses two games in a row half the fans on here are ready to jump off a bridge.
