Can see a lot of Canadians going to games - not far from Van and will have cheaper tickets.

I don't understand. They aren't in Seattle pal. They moved because they had some lean years toward the end of their stay there, and for whatever reason, they felt that they could no longer exist as constituted in that market. Can you not see how that does NOT mean that they were a complete failure for all 41 years?

in almost all cases of teams relocating you can point to a lousy building. same w/ the sonics.

Lots of talks about a possible expansion involving 4 city's. Its not something the NHL is working on. Bill Daly told me nothing as changed.

I never said they were, but just because they had a history of good attendance doesn't mean an owner wouldn't look to move to a more profitable market. If people don't go to the games then the team will move. The owner wanted to have a profitable franchise and he wasn't getting that for a few years so he moved the team. I don't understand how you guys can't figure that out. History of great attendance means nothing when you have an owner that wants money.
