SN president was on the radio this afternoon on TSN 690 In Montreal with host Mitch Melnick. He was on to hype the new 5 channel format TSN launched today. Mitch had the balls to ask him why no Habs English regional package and would it still be possible to do? He really didn't want to answer, but Mitch wouldn't let him off the hook. He finally found a round about way of telling us (Habs fans) we are s.o.l. He said the Habs share the same region with the Sens. TSN has contracted 53 Regional Sens games so there is no room for Habs regional games. Looks like TSN value the Sens more than the Habs. So maybe we can stop the nonsense about the Habs demanding too much for the rights.. Ironically our only hope now for an English regional package is Rogers Sportsnet East, the channel that lost the Sens regional rights to TSN. |

Saw something about registering to CenterIce with a Russian IP address and getting the whole season for $100. Apparently it's pretty easy with some Chrome add-on and you don't have to pay anything on a Russian address. |
