As you have a lot of people thinking the same way, it validates the emotion and the attitude, so probably we feel a little bit ambivalent about humiliating people, however if everyone’s doing it, and it seems to be deserved, and the person did something that’s validated as outrageous, then OK! Let’s go for it.
