Sooo Garth Snow might as well clean out his desk now, right? - TheJerseyDevil1
Not if Wang is still in charge. Which means we're probably stuck with Cappy too. |

the natural reaction is to get excited but this smells terrible. Wang going to hose these guys badly. he will remain the majority owner. Meaning he calls the shots
He will remain majority owner for 2 years. That means when isles start to do well, he going to tell them sorry im not selling. You guys should sell back to me.
Wang needs an money to play a huge interest payment. If I were these guys I would run fast.
Barroway was what we needed. Not more Wang Drama. |

I knew there was someone else, just didn't know who- the source wouldn't tell me- probably spooked by the hissy fit Chuckie threw the last time the information leaked....although what he thought I would do with it, I have no idea. Of course, it may have just been that there were several others, and he didn't know which one was going to be the winner. Despite what WE all know from the history of this franchise, they are going to be playing home games in NYC....that in itself is worth money, never mind the sweetheart lease. |

Isn't there an agreement that Wang will transition the team to the two of them in 2 years? |

There is. I doubt these guys are going to throw out huge money and let Charles call the shots. Charles has control for two more years than he can sit down and shut up. |

Uh...Wow. Not only is it amazing that Wang sold part of the team for real, but that Dee has yet another blog up and this time its about something relevant! |

Once the sale goes through and is complete. Wang will not be able to change the deal like you are suggesting |

Wang still has to deal with the lawsuit from the previous potential buyer. - zerokarma
That suit is for peanuts....probably a non-refundable deposit they're trying to have refunded. |

Be positive bro. Wang is two years away from no more decision making power. I don't know where you're getting the bolded part from. There is no information out there to even suggest this as a possibility. Lets wait to hear the details about the purchase agreement before we worry that Wang will find a way to stay in a decision making role beyond the next two years.
This is a great day. There is light at the end of the tunnel. It may take two years to get there, but so what? At least we'll get there! |

I listened to an interview he did on NHL radio and it was bananas. The guy just didn't get it. I was expecting him to have this ellaborate explanation into his thought process of the Vanek trade, but he just had nothing.
He said the reason he did the trade was because he didn't want to pay Moulson what he was asking, which is nuts when you consider what he signed for and all the chemistry with the team.
And then he also said they'd roll the dice on the offchance Vanek would resign, because of the way the tampering rules work, he had no idea how Vanek felt before he made the trade.
I feel like if you're gunna be giving away those high draft picks and your top-line winger, you should have more certainty that you can keep what you're getting. It shouldn't just be a shot in the dark and a shrug of the shoulders if it doesn't work out. |

Exactly... if the team sucks next year, Wang will not be able to protect his pet Snow. |
