Brooklyn is geographically on Long Island. Jurisdictionally it is part of the City of New York.

Nobody "knew" he was going to sell anytime. Wanting to sell and selling are two different things. His asking price was absurd (although not too absurd, since he got it and more apparently). Big picture people, look at the big picture. Two years is chicken s**t comparted to the last 20 or so we've endured with horrible ownership and bad decision-making.

I read the Nystrom thing too and I have no doubt that Wang wanted out the minute the Lighthouse died and the referrendum didn't pass. But he didn't sell the team until now. That implies that he was actively shopping them for years before finding a buyer to meet his price.

I agree with you. But before yesterday's announcement there was no light at the end of the tunnel and there was no end in sight to Wang's majority, decision-making reign. Now there is. Two years away is better than uncertainty.

We knew he was going to sell. Barroway debacle was public a months now. The loan was due and there was noooo wayyyy wang was paying 120 million.

I get it 2 years from now things will change. But for 2 years wang will have final say on everything. That's absurd.
