How about Johnny Oduya for Anders Lee?
- TyCamScore

Nooo, tank you.

You can have Matt Martin if you want. I saw a Hawks fan saying how much he'd love him once.

Leighton? Stan, you had me then you lost me. Terrible move no matter where in the system he plays. Total hump. Too short a memory on Madison apparently.

Who would you suggest as a veteran NHL goalie to play in Rockford?

How is this a bad move? Its a complete EMERGENCY plan. Nothing wrong with it

No other legit NHL goaltender is going to come running to the blackhawks begging to sign for less than 900k to be the ice hogs starting goaltender

"when Joel Quenneville has doubts about a forward, it is due to a lack of defensive responsibility or poor decision-making."

Yet he rolls out Kris Versteeg. Still can't believe after his brutal play Q put him back out there. The fact Versteeg didn't cut himself with his own blade had to be considered a win.

Yea, Versteeg and Bollig got hall passes all season long

Yet Morin and Regin played well in their brief stints and even had great line chemistry with their linemates when they played, especially Regin, yet they kept getting benched in favor of those dumpster fires

I've seen him live a few times and watched him closely - he's average or above average in straight up speed but I think his strength is his lateral movement. He's really shifty which helps in the O-zone as well as being quick on the PK.

>Thanks
>As mentioned, Kruger (to me) is one of the fastest skaters on the backcheck between bluelines and board to board
>Seems to get on the proper defensive side of the puck extremely fast

I know it, made little sense. I know there is an excuse parade on Versteeg's behalf given his injury, but his issues are not just a diminishing hockey skillset, but he made horrible decisions on the ice. He was a dumpster fire as you said...Bollig was fairly useless too, but Q brings him out and he plays 4 minutes a night. If a dude can't be counted on for more than 4minutes then get someone who can be.

And what does this say about Q????????????

Just so tired of the Q defenders, why is it when someone pops up with valid comments that Q is seemingly beyond reproach.

And before any of the usual gang pop up here with the "well, since you want Q dismissed" bs, "who would you rather have as our coach" -- I would say we have every right to question Q on these things. We all know it won't change a single thing because Q is going to do whatever he wants and unless/until Stanley or John McD or Rocky deem that Q should move on, things will be more of the same.

Same reason we can question why Rozsival was trotted out even though it was plain to see he had nothing left to give this club. And was living on his contributions from 2013 (thank you Michal). Just like Zus.

We have seen this before with Q and we will obviously see it again and again.

I wasn't enamored with Versteeg in his first go-around, and am even less so now. Versteeg 1.0 made all kinds of stupid errors and turnovers leading to transition and goals by the opposition, but at least he would score a few goals, some of them highlight reel variety. Versteeg 2.0 retains all of the Bad, while the good seems to have diminished exponentially, whether it be because of injury, laziness after signing that large contract or whatever the reason.

Q is signed thru 2016-17 season, so unless the team completely underachieves the next couple of seasons he is going nowhere.

I just dont get what the point of dressing Bollig is to play him 4 minutes.

Yea, he might get 2 hits a game, whoopty friggin do

Plays 0 penalty kill
Plays 0 power play
Can't take faceoffs
Isnt a scoring threat
Isnt fast
Isnt very good defensively

At least with Regin or Morin, you get either 1) speed 2) another center 3) a scoring threat

You arent losing anything on the table by playing Regin or Morin in favor of Bollig. Morin plays with an edge and throws the body around too

Thats what I never understood. Instead, Quenneville decided to roll with a short bench for 55 minutes a game in the playoffs because he HAD to dress Bollig

Why are we still bashing Bollig - isn't he gone?

Or - is this bashing Q?

Just want to keep it straight.

Josh Bailey for Brent Seabrook and a conditional* 3rd rounder.

*The condition is that you trade us Seabrook.
