After watching a small portion of the Bears fine preseason game against the Seahawks its pretty obvious - there's only one team in this town that's a contender to win and that would be the Blackhawks.

I would like to see a constitutional amendment to prohibit the manufacture, sale, and consumption of light "beer".

Amen to that.

Got a starter kit, and just finished reading a book about it. Hope to try my first batch soon.

Haven't done beer, but have been doing wine for roughly 3 years. Great hobby, and surprisingly good stuff you can produce if you have patience. Feels good when other people drink the stuff you've made and rave about it.

Have an expensive taste in wine, so need to make all the stuff I can't afford to buy (Amarone, Barolo, Super Tuscan, etc)

Beer is done much faster, (all the wine I make is a minimum of two year aging) and I've tasted some pretty good home brews that people have made.

Again, I'd recommend home brewing, beer or wine, great hobby.

I spend a decent amount of time in mid wisconsin. And if I'm trying not to be a drunken stiff (and up there that requires an effort) I drink Spotted Cow or any of the New Glarus beers. But if I'm going piss ugly bring on the Blatz and keep it coming. We pound Hamms too

Last night was the first glimpse for me of the Bears.

#21 I don't think has met a bad angle he didn't like. I say Boy, Boy don't run to where he is but where he going to.

LB's...do the Bears have any? Double nickle is a mere shell of himself these days.

If you play FF Forte, JayBlo and his receivers will great and that's about it.

I don't think one story - first story I've seen about him this summer, I think - constitutes "tire pumping".

I, for one, am glad to know he's been here, diligently (presumably) working out under professional supervision and bonding with future teammates.

I think we'll see a big improvement from both Versteeg and Bickell, but especially Versteeg.

That would be sweet. I know the Isles don't have their 2015 2nd round pick, but they have Philly's. 4 picks in this first 2 rounds if this draft would be excellent. However, as I've said before Stan would need to trade another forward to make room for Martin.

MrPaulish, BGKarras, how's Itasca treating you lately?
I still have a feeling some GM will make an offer for Bickell that Stan will not be able to refuse. Maybe McNeil or Shaw will play the PF role this season, the whole season.

The Great Western hideout of Itasca was awesome this summer . My daughters got to dance on stage with ABBA , weather was mild , park district remodeling was completed and I dont think there was one felony ! lol.

Im very anxious to see what the Hawks are going to do ....
