Honestly, I know we talk about Nuge as our 1C but if Draisaitl develops right, there's no reason he can't be our 1C. With his size, he may be better suited for it in the west. Time will tell of course.

I so agree with this... It would not shock me at all in 3 years if Nuge is our 2C and defensive while LD dominates the dot on the top line...

Could be but what difference would it make. Any combination of Hall, Perron, Yak and Ebs will be awesome.

Hall Draisaitl Yak
Hall Draisaitl Eberle
Hall RNH Yak
Hall RNH Eberle
Perron Draisaitl Yak
Perron Draisaitl Eberle
Perron RNH YAK
Perron RNH Eberle

We really should try that first one this year. Let Perron play with RNH and Eberle.

Hall should be able to play on a line himself and carry the others. Hopefully Yak and him can get their chemistry back and LD is just there to make some room.

At the end of the day, I'm pretty happy with the 5 players we drafted in the 1st round.

I would rather Landy instead of Nuge- to this day... If Hall tones down his recklessness I am super excited with him... I thought he was the dynamic choice- as he is a game changer- but u ask yourself WTF good is a game changer if they continue to be injured?? I just dont like the injuries freakish or not- we need players playing long and healthy careers... otherwise Seguin wins...

It would be a mistake to keep Draisaitl in the NHL for this season IMO.

Was Hall and Nuge injured at all last season? I thought the injuries were fixed.

Do we have a better option? The kid is probably ready to be an NHL rookie.

No they werent- I am just referring to previous in Hall... I hope he repeats 75+ games for years to come- and plays in the playoffs! I see Doughty and Hall in quite the battle in a couple years time...

Maybe suck it up one more year with Arcobello as your 2C? I understand there aren't many other options but that's what happened with Gagner and you could argue it hurt his development in the longrun. Same happened with the Isles and Bailey. I just think it's always better to keep a player in Juniors after he gets drafted similar to Drouin with Tampa but I understand the circumstances are different in the sense that Tampa had NHL ready depth and that Draisaitl looks NHL ready.

So Seguin playing in the NHL was a mistake? Duchene? Skinner?

Maybe lets wait until deeming something a mistake.

Bet was done like 6 months ago, the key was it pissed people off so I kinda ended up winning the bet anyway.

Arco solves nothing. We only have 2 NHL Centers at the moment in RNH and Gordon. Right now when we have 2 spots to fill and Draisaitl is competing with Arco and Anton Lander it looks pretty good for the German.

Draisaitl makes the team if Mac T can't land another option ,IMO.

He makes it regardless IMO. So he doesn't play #2, he goes to 3 with Purcell and Pouilot.

Just don't see how a guy with his size and skill and potential isn't in the NHL this year. Who's the last forward that didn't play that was drafted in the top 3 that had NHL size?
