I suppose...but there is still quite a bump for his senior year. Read French's blog, he has a good breakdown. - Jeropotato
Paul McCann had an interesting stat on Kevin Hayes: Hayes played 14 games without Johnny Gaudreau last season and scored at a 1.5 PPG clip during that span. |

Avs, Preds, Bruins, Penguins, and the Rangers are the final 5 teams for Hayes. With no Calgary or Florida on that list, maybe a guaranteed top 6 spot isn't exactly what he's looking for? Avs appear to be the front runners though. |

I don't think that is the final list. Those are just the 5 teams that met to talk to him and his agent today. |

Is that because you guys aren't on his list or.....? - Panthers88
I have no use for prima donnas like him. I hope he spends his whole career in the minors. Remember Patrik Stefan, Daniel Tkaczuk, Pavel Brendl. All of the three were busts who thought they were better than they were. |

It is actually funny, the only person in hockey I see tracking the Hayes sweeps is this Divver guy. Where the hell is everyone else? |

The Hayes sweeps is more of an overweight ice girl with a broom so everyone is hanging around waiting for Wang to make one more screw up before handing over control of the Isles |

Slow news week...let's make some up:
What if Alfredsson signed a 1yr/$1M deal with the Rangers? Would he play 2nd line with MSL or would he play 3rd line with Zucc or Hagelin?
I didn't watch many Wings games last season. Does he still have the legs to increase the Rangers speed threat? |

He still can play, but I don't think he would increase the Rangers' speed threat, as I don't think that is game anymore. I do think, however, that he will either sign with the Wings or retire. Has young kids, and can't see him moving them twice within a two year period. Also, the Rangers are pretty much out of roster space, barring trade. Just don't see it happening, although it would be nice.

Those were pretty dark days for prospects period. The late 90's made me wonder if the NHL would ever feature another great hockey player. |

As much as those guys were hyped, they were never hyped to the extent of being "generational players". They rode the prospect hype that Lindros created. When he was a prospect tearing it up and slated to go number 1 overall, everybody was going wild and ever since then, the potential 1st overall always gets Richardrode hard. |
