that's interesting, i didn't know my age was what determined if cup wins are legitimate. does that mean if a 10 year old kid was a huge oilers fan, all those cups won in the 80s are no longer relevant?

i wish people would use LOGIC in their arguements. it's so easy to beat these trolls since they cant use facts...yawn.

Leafs won 11 cups. Montreal has 24. WHO GIVES A (frank) besides their fan bases? None of those are relevant now. All from bygone eras. Neither the 11 or the 24 have happened in the last 20 years. Cling to the past, stay there and be left behind. The rest of us will be here in current events.

I know im late to the board and likely wont get any response but....

To the people who said they have never heard of Justin Braun (primarily people with favorite teams/locations in the east). He's the second best defenseman on the Sharks, a team always in the playoffs, at the top of the league in most offensive/possession categories, and in general a team that plays an exciting brand of hockey no matter your favorite team is. Oh and he led the league in +/- for a good chunk of the season last year (even if you're not a fan of that stat, its still one of the most prevalent stats in hockey). The best defenseman on the team, Marc-Eduard Vlasic. I'm sure you other east coasters hadn't heard of him until last year either. My point is, if you are actually a hockey fan and not just a homer, you would have at least heard of him. And you wonder why people out west believe in the east coast bias!
