Try being a full season ticket holder!

Not going to be easy selling my friends on coming to games!

I think Sens know exactly how season ticket holders feel. Box owners are furious over what they see happening (or, not happening).

Signing Borowiecki suggests to me that they are close to a deal. You can never have too much depth. So, either Borowieki or another D is about to be moved. My guess is Ottawa is open to moving any Dman not named Karlsson. Some teams like Philadelphia and San Jose need help right now. Wiercioche is very attractive to any team as is Methot or Ceci or Cowen.

If anyone of these guys is part of a package to obtain Simmonds and a bad contract from the Flyers I would be okay.

I would also do a deal with Boston if Krug and/or Reilly Smith was included along with a heavy contract (Kelly).

looks like a trade is coming. we now have 8 NHL D Men. i could honestly see Ceci starting in the AHL until a trade is made. i mean i like Boro's cap hit, as much as Melnyk but how many 5,6,7 defensmen does 1 team need?

hopfully its Gryba or Philips being shipped off for a 7th rounder.

Don't want to see a small deal. Want to see a huge deal that brings back a top 6 player.

Ottawa is a great trade partner for any team that is trying to deal with a cap crunch. Sens have some players on spectacular contracts (Zach Smith, Wiercioche) and they have some real strong prospects in their system.

They have the whole year to make a deal with Anderson or trade him to a team in need. I think its way too early to be making this decision. Why not see what he's going to play like this year ? Why not let him play for his contract and have some pressure ?
Unless they feel they have leverage because of his performance last year...
IMO Anderson is more valuable in a trade scenario on an expiring contract.
Lehner should be ready to take over the reigns by next year (I hope!)
What if Kari Lehtonen gets injured (for the 15th time)?
Could see us dealing with Dallas again...
I just don't get the logic behind this move, reminds me of the Phillips deal.

+1 Gord W.

Cause if he sucks this year his value could go down

Not sure what's going to happen here, but I'm pretty baffled by this move. 5 (FIVE!) Left handed defensemen on one-ways. Maybe Boro goes to AHL until a deal is done? Surely he'll pass waivers. The only way I'd move Methot is to get a lefty who is better than he is, with similar skill set, so EK can do his thing. Package him with Chris Neil. But then you still have 5 LHD. Need to get rid of two of them.

Iam thinking its Gryba thats on the move ,decent bottom pair defender with a great contract. He would have some worth in a package to a cash strapped team.Boro can fill in on the bottom pair
