What makes u think we wouldn't have a 2016 1st round pick?
- jdfitz77

my hope is that if everything has gone right that pick gets traded in package deal for a vet. Obviously a lot of things would have to go right for us to start trading away 1sts that early but hey you never know.

With Murray's scouting prowess . I see him trading prospects not picks . That way he can keep re loading and keep the system full with players at different levels in their development. Much like LA seems to be doing . Never want the well to go dry.

That makes sense
Also to consider, he's likely not as high on all our prospects as the previous administration

To be fair......

LA has traded their 1st rounder 2 of the last 4 years.

They seem to be able to bring up the next role player out of their system . We are nowhere near where LA is for at least another 3 years to be realistic.

E.J. Manuel just isn't good, sorry guys. And you're GM overpaid in that Watkins trade. Brutal.

Still love Spiller though(when healthy).

I know it's not measurable, and I usually think intangibles are overrated. However, I do believe in the "it" factor, and it's something I have never seen out of EJ Manuel, not in his short career in the NFL so far, and he definitely didn't show it in his career at Florida State.
