Gagne had some head and post concussion issues.he was trying some strange things like pineapple extract injections or something along those lines.Hexy was in Los Angeles that cup year right? He had to have seen something

That's one theory. The other is that the NHL purchased them to coop their stuff into their native stats package. And the other theory... just routine server maintenance, which they badly needed.

Sign Gags, put in on D to replace Kimmo. Bettman hands up to Flyers now.

Why the Flyers dont just sign him to a one year deal is beyond me.

He is better than any LW we have right now.

Raffl was already better than 2012 gagne last year.
- Just5

How do you figure? Last time Gagne played was during a 48 half schedule and Raffl played during an 82 full schedule. Both of which missed time for different reasons but it's not comparable. Gagne picked up his game when traded to Philly and the Flyers played much better when Gagne was added to the team during the second half of the half schedule.

Personally... I would have rather signed Gagne instead of Vinny. For what thats worth

I think a lot of people would. But that's more due to Vinny than Gagne.

3 more years of Vinny.... Hope he bounces back and stays healthy.

Best case scenario... Vinny retires before the contract is up.

I believe in him. I think he has had time to heal. I hope he joins the Bruins and lights the Flyers up in spite.
- GOA88

Prior to the 04-05 lockout Selanne was junk. He rested one year. He signed for cheap with the Ducks and blew up again. Not saying Gagne is Selanne.
