Coyotes will somehow finish 9th even though they have basically no elite talent besides Yandle and Mike Smith. Vancouver in 10th, Oilers 11, Flames 12, Jets 13, Preds 14. I think the Jets really fall apart this year and may even finish dead last in the conference...so much dysfunction up there

EDIT: OEL is sick also

- EnzoD

what the heck? Really the Flames the Preds? No way....the jets possibly, but I think Nashville is significantly better
but thanks for the vote of confidence! LOL

I'm sure she could do that cart wheel 10 years ago when she was skinny.

Her form looks great!

... Until her hands touch the floor.

How will those poor kids watching ever learn to do a proper cartwheel?

Vancouver gets the last playoff spot over the Wild? Preposterous Statement Tournament nomination. I think everyone's perspective on the 5 Central Teams that made the playoffs last year and their goalie situations will change tremendously at the end of this season. Blue - (trend up) Elliot a solid regular season goalie. Avs - (trend down) Varlamov comes back down to earth with an exploited defense. Stars - (trend down) Lehtonen concussion issues paired with a defense that relies on 40 yr old Gonchar too much. Wild - (trend up) Keumper thrives in defensive scheme with young growing defenders. Hawks - (neutral) Crawford prob the only one that stays pat and is solid again till playoffs and a team can aim high once again.

Isn't this more or less your hope as opposed to the current trend? Sample size is pretty small on Kemper. Could be the next Mikhail Schtalenkov for all anyone really knows.

Really anyone that is commenting on the future season is posting about their own opinion or how you say "hope". Whether you hope I'm wrong or right that is your own opinion till it happens. Plus I don't see how current trend if you include playoffs don't show varlamov coming back to earth, elliot outplayed miller in st. louis when milller arrived given the lack of opportunities. Lehtonen didn't do anything special after his concussion, and crawford still played great till teams shot high. Keumper would be the only real 'hopeful' opinion I posted on there.

I'm not hoping for either, it's not like the Oilers will be threatening that spot, just saying that although there is a chance Kemper moves himself into the upper echelon of Western Conference Goalies, it just seems a bit premature. Really, the same can be said about Ben Scrivens at this point either way, but who really knows with such a small sample size.
