Anyone else surprised there have been no changes to the scouting dept. Also has not hired a stat geek that I know of even though he's given lip service to the analytical area of the game.

Just thought we'd hear about a couple changes by now since the draft is over. Only thing was the change to the coaching staff which might have been berubes call

What's wrong with our scouting group? Also, I feel like he's put more emphasis on using analytics carefully in order to compliment scouting reports and to help improve team stats through a direct approach. I don't know why we'd need a stats guru for that.
