anyone who think pittsburgh isn't a contender is on something. look at the east, it is terrible. so many potential lottery teams (sabres, sens, panthers). so of course the actual good teams like pittsburgh, toronto, and boston will obviously be contenders.

Thats nice ,just because we are younger and are using more kids in our top 9 doesnt mean an instant fail .Zbad,Stone,Chaisson,Hoffman and Lazar are all kids we have some hopes for, as does sens brass .Whether they all pan out is something else all together .We could sign a guy like Seto. But in reality why would we ,we need to know if these guys are going to be nhlers .

James Neal and Ribeiro both obviously can. If Fisher returns he obviously can. Matt Cullen was 1 point short last year, he can. Jokinen and Roy, obviously a possibility for them too.

Will all of these guys? Probably not. But they’re just as likely, if not moreso, than many of the garbage players the Sens fan quoted.

40 points is the low end ,We have a 51 point center on our 3rd line and a 75 point defenseman.We have some issues but scoring isnt one of them

They were top 10 last year and always were good scoring...the issue is the defense as they were bottom 5 for goals allowed... stop worrying about Sens forwards who will outscore most of the eastern teams easily...We don't need Seto; barely have any space to develop the newbies!!
