If I remember correctly, most of your D was injured, G, even Michalek has health issues. That's just off the top of my head?

I def know Karllson was bc he sucked for me last year in fantasy, pissed

U have to keep in mind that losing Spezza and to me not fetching a better return hindered your scoring depth.

Michalek did have some issues but he was a very good forward for us towards the end of the season ,Spezza,s loss will be migated by the overall better two way play, that each line should be able to provide .This better all around two way play by our forwards should help our very young and large defense. As for EK even when he sucked last season he is still a 75 point defender .He should be much better this season

You seem to be predicting every player is going to improve this year. I know how disappointing it is when that doesn't happen. I see you at the bottom with Buffalo and Carolina this year.. Draft well.

In a way, you are speculating on "if's"
Me being an outsider, I can only see the positives of Ryan, Turris, McArthur, Zibby, Karllson. These players can guaranty production, the rest are "ifs"
Do u agree or disagree?

Thing is that most our kids have been in the nhl ,and have been learning at this level .Most teams in the east are going on ahl stats and what their kids did in junior ,ours have already been seasoned

I think most people think that instead of maybe taking a little reality check sometimes and better to think of the worse 1st so no one gets disappointed.

Besides Zibby what next kid stood out last year? Bc I have no clue?
OTT has been jerking around w/Stone, Pageau still needs seasoning and not sure what he is yet, so who?

Wiercoch I like and is solid, Cowen hasn't become the player that all have envisioned yet. Anderson needs to regain his form from 2yrs ago, Lehner needs to prove consistency and relying on Legwand should not be expected from a 34yr old C, he gives leadership & locker room presence any production from him is a bonus.

Ceci great two way play from him took the riens from wiercoch when he couldnt play the right side ,Cowen had an off year but still was even on the +/- stat and had a boatload of hits .Wiercoch had some good games and some bad ones ,but he still has 44 nhl points in his 103 nhl games .Gryba solidified himself as a great bottom pairing defender.Lehner was good for a stretch ,had a rough spell that spun for a while .Stone looked fantastic in his late season call up, so good the coach played him with Turris and Macarther

He had a bad second full season after a pretty big injury ,kid has played what 163 games ,Legwand is the teams 3rd line center and will be babysitting two kid winger,s most of the time .But he will still be in around 35 to 40 points

1st off, as an islander fan I don't play the homer card and u can ask any of my fellow posters......

But my take of my team is simple, isles strengthen the G position (which was the biggest weakness by far)
The additions of Grabo & Kumi helped the depth of the F as well as provide better defensive help.
Most of us wont lie and admit our biggest weakness left is D, and that's a fact...
to me besides Hamonic/DeHaan the rest is a crap shoot. but that's my take, others may think different. But also I'm not taking into consideration of any of the top D prospects making the team, just solely relying on Strait, Hickey, Viz, Carkner, Donovan, Brennan. But I do think that Reinhart might make the opening line-up but not sold yet.

edit: so in a nutshell, yea my team is more defined with not many "ifs" the only "ifs" will be staying healthy.

The Sens on paper are maybe MAYBE better than Buffalo and that's because most of Buffalo's roster are unproven kids. They could be good(although I hope not). They're not better than the isles and certainly not better than Flyers. Lay off the blue sky meth. I wouldn/t be mad Sens fans you have a legit shot at Connor Jack McEichel

If Wings were to miss the playoffs, I wouldn't really mind it this year.
But I think it would be tough for them to miss out in the East, pending health status check, of course.
