This is the first time in a long time as an Islanders fan I can read comments like this and laugh. Their rolling out a pretty good squad this year. As long as they stay healthy, they are a contender. Their stacked with depth at F, D is underrated and their goalie situation is light years better than it was before.

I honestly don't know how you can look at both of these teams rosters and say the Sens are better.

Considering top 2 players played half a season, 2nd line C didn't play at all
and so on.
Based on that alone, it should answer all your questions.

With Giroux you have 6 20 goal scorers and you traded away Hartnell which was one and not only was he one he was the heart of the team.

The leafs been in a rebuild for 5- 8 years they been missing and were the youngest team for those years also. Now they an improved team that had a collpase which happens with young teams and will see who does better from today forward.

They have been the model Sports franchise but they are going to be missing the playoffs for the next few years sorry to say. Dats 38 and zett34 Kronwall 34 are getting old and dealing with injuries. Where you dropped on your head as a child? Flyers have 7 20 goal scorers INCLUDING Giroux. Hartnell had exactly 20 goals and we got umberger who had 18. I think we ll live. The leafs will not be in the playoffs. They will choke like they have since Sundin left

Dats is still rated as the 4th best center in the league, and Zetterberg as the 2nd best left winger.
Babcock will be resigned by Oct 1st.
The prospects pool is great as well.
If they made the playoffs last year with 2nd most games lost to injuries to top 6
forwards, I am not worried about your predictions.
