With Ohlund on LTIR I get it to fit without any problems.

Something like...

Drouin-Stamkos-Callahan
Palat-Filppula-Connolly
Killorn-Johnson-Brown
Morrow-Boyle-Panik
Kucherov

Hedman-Garrison
Carle-Stralman
Brewer-Gudas
Barberio

Bishop
Nabokov

- Michael_Stuart

Very interesting line-up. I'm chomping at the bit to get a chance to see Drouin & see what this kid has. Don't know much about Panik on 4th line but the other 2 F's would definitely hurt the speed aspect of the team and could see that line victimized the most of goals against. Wish Nabby luck w/u guys and hope Bishop stays healthy...

I think Tampa might have been victim to a system/players. I'm curious to see Boyle on the PK in Tampa...without Henrik, Mcdonagh, and Girardi.

i wonder how frustrated tampa's fan base will be when somebody a foot shorter and 100 pounds lighter than boyle knocks him the length of the ice three times a game.

stralman is definitely the man i'm going to miss the most as far as free agency departures go. your team looks good so long as bishop stays healthy.

I can believe it. I could see YEG and YYC counting for at least 4m between them by then.

We've definitely enjoyed the opportunities given here, but would like to get back to Ontario in the near future... My wife is itching to be close to the water again

The water , I'm from the east coast and that's what would be hard for me not to see too . My brothers moved out to Alberta one in the Air Force and another just to escape this place ... They both miss the water as well

Yes . If not I'm not one whose worried about vasilevskiy stepping in , he's played with men in Russia as well , but it would be great not to need him and rush him

Not to mention the fact that he is an ex- Ranger makes it all the more (no pun intended) sweeter. So lets see...two first rounders, Cally, Strah, and Boyle...thank you Marty!
- TheConsiglierre

You didn't get those two because of MSL trade.

That'd be like me saying thanks Callahan, because of you we got Dan Boyle.

Take it from a Rangers fan, if youre relying on Boyle to score for you, then youre missing the point. However on the defensive end, especially in special teams, youre getting a guy that can win faceoffs and will throw his body in front of everything. Hes a frustrating player to watch as he has no possession skills, and plays with the body of someone who is 5'6, but he will leave it all on the ice, and you might want his head as some point, but youll learn to love the guy for being suicidal.

I think you got it right. We dont need Boyle to score goals. We need him for his PK skills and his work ethics. He's someone the kids can look up to because he, like Callahan, leaves it on the ice. His faceoff skills are pretty good too.

He is a guy I was hoping Buffalo would sign. Love his play during the playoffs also. Maybe more so last year.

I don't expect a damn point from him, but our PK needs help.

But he helped to bring them to Tampa and he came as a result of the Marty trade.

Boyle said he wanted a larger role with the rangers in the 2014-2015 season. next thing he does is sign with tampa where he will be...a 4th line center who can win faceoffs and kill penalties?

No thye didn't. I can't use that for the Rangers side of things either. Tampa got both Boyle are Stralman because they were willing to pay them most

Boyle said he talked to Callahan prior to signing here. His wife being from Orlando area probably helped as well.

I'm really warming up to the idea of a Drouin-Stamkos-Callahan trio. There's a little bit of everything on that line.

Palat-Filppula-Connolly sounds like a damn solid second line too.

- Michael_Stuart

Think you will have some PTO of vets on your team? I feel like another Vet singing wouldn't be the worst the thing. Just in case Drouin isn't ready so you have to shift your LWs up.

Only guy I can think of worse giving a try out would be Penner to be on the 3rd line and move everyone up. Setoguchi maybe as well

I don't think so. I think they'll run with the kids.
