If you don't have adblock, the ads sit on top of the content.

Great Article on Goalies Bill. I agree that size can be a blessing but I like Quellet's take. That the roadblocks of being a smaller goalie or player can be overcome by character and determination. And finding those characteristics is key in developing into a good hockey player. Giving players something to rise above, is a great test of Heart, which if you could measure that trait, it would be the most important to any draft scout.

Butterfly is already tough on the body... you'd have to think these guys who are 6'4+ carrying a lot more weight might have a tougher time staying healthy in the long-run.

Yup. Mason's been real good for you guys. I doubt Hammar would've saved that sick dangle though.
- rangerdanger94

you have no idea what i would've saved. it's a simple low-angle net drive and the guy slammed it through the five-hole because of poor positioning. there was no sick dangle at the crease to score that goal.

i made 3 saves on a play exactly like that on wednesday night against pretty good players. i've also been scored against in plays exactly like that. sometimes you stop it, sometimes you don't.

yes, except for the ones that are already on the list, like soetaert and weeks.

and dan blackburn who had a promising career cut short because of nerve damage in his left arm, which caused him to try playing with a blocker/glove in order to keep playing. sad really. his demise paved the way for csp.

and lester patrick. that guy has my respect. seriously.

Montreal fans on reddit are heartbroken at the loss of White. At the very least, I think we just signed a fan favorite. Also, this article talks about Macdonalds usage and corsi last season: http://www.broadstreethoc...case-for-andrew-macdonald
Spoiler: he actually put up good corsi numbers and had good goals against numbers with Streit and offensive defenseman opposed to defensive ones. I think we'll actually find success with these pairings:

Grossmann-Coburn
Streit-MacDonald
MDZ-Schenn

If anyone is worried about the last pairing, you could probably swap MDZ with Streit pretty seemlessly.
