there is no place for this in here!

and while i agree with the author's thinking, i think he's misguided in his closing comment. not a recipe for "a more enjoyable conversation".

I heard Marty Biron on xm radio today. They asked him about Del Zotto. Biron said his skating seems to have lost a step last year. He was battling some chronic abdominal injury or something. Said his best asset was his skating, and he wasn't as good last year as he was before. Hopefully next year he gets his stride back.

Fck Ryan White, not a fan of that deal. I am kind of excited to see MDZ though.

Let's just say that MDZ can only help the Flyers, and I honestly believe that.

If he sucks, then scratch him and waste the 1.3 mil, or waive him and bury the money. Who cares. It's a 1 year deal.

I really love it. Hate the circumstances and why it had to be done, needless to say, but boy- I really think Hexy made a magnificent deal. MDZ could be the steal of the offseason.

yup.
I am a fan of it.
Hope he gets his wheels back though, they could use a speedy puck carrier type.
If his skating is average for whatever reason, well, that is why he was passed over this year. If it was due to an injury and he is healthy, then they made out OK.

I think the deal could go either way. His very young career has gone up, down, up, down, up, down. Seeing how last season was one of those down seasons, I expect that he'll go up. If I had it my way, We'd be rid of the LeCavalier and Umberger deal. With Del Zotto being in the average age range of the team, I'd like him to have a solid season, become apart of this team's future and possibly replace Streit within his role.

I imagine White was signed to play the "Lappy" role... agitate, sacrifice the body, scrap a bit, kill penalties. His being RH also means they don't have to play a guy on his off-wing on that 4th-line.

As long as no kids push him out, I don't imagine that he's destined for the Phantoms.

Rinaldo's days seem to be numbered -- Homer felt like his biggest supporter, and that's gone.
