Most Isles fans feel that what Amac & Streit wanted in there next contract was not worth it bc they were most noticeable as a defensive liability. Plus Isles wanted to resign both but not overpay like some & most of the league has done.

I agree with you. A majority of d-men in this league make too (Brooks Orpik) much.
Streit has been better than advertised since coming here. He will be the quarterback of one of the best power play units in the league.
Amac got too many years. I think he will do fine here but people will eventually run him out of town due to his contract. |

Best of luck to Kimmo. This is sad news for anyone, let alone a guy well liked in the league. Blot clots are scary business.
As for MDZ, I'm surprised Flyers haven't started mentioning another name. Someone who may be a BIT too green,
