Need Chief to believe that he is more than a one-year solution -- with the way that kid has seen his stock plummet, it would probably be good for him to just feel like someone believes in his future, too.

To me, that was what Mason sensed here -- he knew the Flyers wanted him to play well. He knew they chose him to bring in and compete.

Oddly after Ekblad went down, Morin's ice time got cut. I thought he played well for the most part. Definitely faster and stronger than last year. Also, Darnell Nurse looks so skinny still.

Canada will have tough choices on D just based on who is at the camp, let alone who plays well when the season begins with who could make a late push.
