You don't get to give up control and still call the shots—not when someone is giving you $400 Million dollars. It's absurd to say that ANY staff could possibly be a deal-breaker in any of this. Charles let Kumar go to jail. You THINK he'd walk away from $400 Mil for Garth or Cappy or the woman in the sales department one year shy of collecting her pension?


If he wants to see the "rebuild" come to fruition with Garth & Cappy, he'd better start investing in cryogenics. I'm praying this is because someone outbid Barroway but I have a bad feeling about all of this.

I got an idea. Let's trade bailey for a Colin McDonald like foward /or strait level dman to please fans on hockeybuzz board only to have those very same fans say snow is so dumb for having traded bailey when he producing on his new team.

I'm probably the biggest Bailey fan on here but with the coach we have in place(no I'm not blaming him for all of Bailey's woes bfr someone jumps down my throat)and other reasons we have all debated too many times he is quickly pushing himself out. I see his potential but you can't keep saying next year is his big year.
I was one of the people on here ready to part with Okposo before midseason the year we made the playoffs. I honestly never thought he'd put it together and would only top out as a good third liner. The difference with Bailey and Okposo is their drive. Bailey's seems to be lacking/missing for stretches. He appears disinterested.
With all of this said I believe this is a make or break season for Bailey. I feel we may see a different player this year that comes out strong from the start. I'm rooting for the kid but I wouldn't be destroyed or pissed at management if he was traded for a defenseman. It's one of those situations where I can see both sides of the debate and not disagree with either.

To me the difference of KO & Bales is different. KO could never put together a consistent season and would produce when it didn't matter or end of season when team had nothing to play for. Bailey has a world of talent but lacks heart & confidence & drive. The only similarities of the 2 are how long it took KO to finally show up and its taking Bailey this long for what?

We all have not really witnessed Bailey put up numbers period was I guess my comparison of the difference.

That was the reason I wanted to see him traded, but he put it together and became what we had hoped for. I don't see that drive in Bailey and I don't want him in the lineup instead of Lee, Nelson, or Strome. Bailey's points all come when the season is meaningless.
