EK has the Flyers closing on Del Zotto. Are they trying for the worst D in history? - ses111
Easy rumor for him to float out with all of his other garbage now that Timmomen is out indefinitely with blood clots. |

Someone put that on Twitter so we can see what mangled form it takes when it finds its way back to this board as a rumor in a few hours. |

Not really. Think he's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to write a blog |

Yeah. He probably wants us to keep Capuano as our head coach for a few more years too. |

No chance. Unbelievable. Snow will probably announce the four year extension for capuano today to brighten our day further. I really wonder if the thing that held up this deal was barroway wanting to bring his own people in? - Cptmjl
What held it up was Wang not really wanting to sell.

Isles better light up the Flyers this year. I want to see guys like Lee and Nelson go right through Del Zotto, Amac, and Streit. |

He should have told Barroway before wasting his time. Bettman also should have done his homework. Then again, Bettman is the genius who wanted Charles to kept Milbury as GM. |

Why? So he could steal the puck from him in the neutral zone then take a harmless wrist shot from our blue line? |

Not happening. Not even Holmgren is stupid enough to take that chance. |

Do remember though, it was Barroway who approached Wang, unsolicited. Wang though an 'over the moon' price out and Barroway shockingly accepted. Beyond that, we know nothing of what other potential hanging points there were other than the fact that Wang wasn't sure he wanted to completely walk away. Barroway could have even ran into snags with Barclays for all we know.
In the end, I do think that Charles wants a partner, not an outright sale. |

Well if that were the case he probably shouldn't be negotiating with people. |

Wang could have put a stop to things early on before they went anywhere. Charles wants someone to give him huge money will he gets to protect his people from being replaced by better hockey people. |
