Was in Halifax once and didn't the gas cap tight enough on g/f's new Honda. It died on a busy street lol.
- AGalchenyuk27

My daughters Honda's check engine light stays on constantly because of the gas cap. You can reset it and it's good for about a week.

1) Can Prust regain enough health in the off season to become once again an invaluable fulltime (or quasi full-time) player for the habs who impacts games?

2) What should be done with Moen? (and what would be the cap effect of any potential move)

3) Will any of Bournival, Andrighetto, or Sekac be able to stick on the top nine open position at wing?

4) Should we have ofered Gio, because of his 200 foot game, a 2 year contract and foregone (3) and could this non-move come back to haunt us?

5) Will the club sink back to a great goaltending, defensively disciplined, but somewhat anemic scoring team now that the Vanek threat is gone and more scoring pressure once again is placed on the shoulders of our forwards?

6) Should the team pull another Vanek-like move at the deadline if we are in a similar situation at that point as last year?

7) Will the combined veteran loss of Gio, Gorges, and Briere hurt come playoff time?

1) No
2) Keep him as a 13th forward/waive him if needed
3)Sekac will have a chance, so will Bournival on a third line.
4)No
5)Price needs to keep playing the way he has, doesn't matter if we have a Vanek or not
6) Maybe, depends on the trade/player
7) No

I get to a girl who was probably 16 years old and she asked "will you have sex with me?" I immediately got flushed in the face and she was standing right beside her mom. I looked at her mother and the mom was nodding her head and said "yes, will you?"

i have been wondering the same. i'm fine with this being a low-scoring team. LA and NY proved that you don't need to be high-scoring teams to compete for the Cup. but if the offence is to remain the same, i think defence/possession must improve significantly. i think Gilbert in for Gorges will help in that regard and so will a guy like Beaulieu in for Murray/Bouillon, assuming that's the case and assuming he grows as a player. but we're very weak at centre in that regard.

you really look at things so black and white... PK Subban scored 10 goals last year. so i guess Montreal wouldn't miss him either on offence?
first, in his 18 games, Vanek scored at a pace that would have seen him lead the team in scoring over a full season. second, he injected balance into the lineup and let a guy like Gallagher play where he belongs, off the first line.
do you really not remember how Montreal went from playoff bubble team to coasting into the playoffs once he was united with DD and Pacioretty? he's a significant loss. he had 6 terrible, terrible games against NY and that seems to have clouded everyone's judgment on what he brought to the club.

But the other side of the coin is the Habs were in a very comfortable playoffs spot before Vanek was brought along.

Edit: I'm not saying he wasn't a very good asset to help the team (in the regular season) but he wasn't as important as some make him out to be.

the only reason they were comfortable is that one long wining streak they went on. They struggled for offence the rest of the season.

there's comfortable and there's adding a guy who can pop 40 goals a year in and there's not a soul on this team or in its system that can replace that

we might be weak at centre, but we can divise a system that turns that weakness into a strength... Here's how...

For my ball hockey team, what we do is we keep the left wiiii....guys? GUYS?
