It's cute that you like to believe they are still relevant.
But their old material blows that poop out of the water. |

Geddy Lee, Les CLaypool, Cliff Burton and Flea have been named in a poll of the best bassists ever.
Duran Duran's John Taylor was named in top spot, taking an overwhelming 30% of the vote in MusicRadar's poll of the 60 best bass players of all time.
Rush hero Lee came in second, with Flea reaching seventh and Primus virtuoso Claypool in 12th place.

I don't know how anyone can like Dragonforce.
Also, their previous band was just a load of racist bullpoop.

Well, liked Through the Fire and Flames when I was 15, but quickly realized their whole discography was full of poop. |

They are great at their instruments. But masturbating the neck of a guitar at blazing speeds doesn't make you a good song writer. |

The best of all christian bands.
1. Relient K (Nothing can beat "More Than Useless" and "Be My Escape")
2. Thousand Foot Krutch (The only band that I like almost as much as Relient K. The album "The End is Where we Begin" made me really like this band. )
3. Hawk Nelson (I love there podcasts)
4. FM Static (Another great band from Trevor McNevan)
5. Petra (The band that started it all. )
6. Family Force 5 (Let me see you WOBBLE! )
7. TobyMac (Even after dc Talk he's still great. Acually better. )
8. Dc Talk ("Jesus Freak" is probably the most known christian rock song ever. )
9. Switchfoot (Everyone likes Switchfoot it seems. )
10. Skillet (A great band, but a little overrated) |

IMO most metal bands talent are how good they play their instruments and not so much on song writing

Why would song writing be less important in metal than in other styles?
Technical prowess definetely helps if your band's going at something like this, but it alone does not make a good song.
There are impressionnable teenagers everywhere.

Good band and good musicians are 2 things...you can have incredible musicians but if the songs suck well the whole band (frank)ing sucks. |

Yeah, was like this not too long ago. If it wasn't technical or brootal enough, it sucked. At some time you get more mature and appreciate songwriting more than the said masturbation, regardless of the style.
