i think elongated, but i have also never seen any of the burrito truck people use a panini press after the steam the tortilla

mine look like...pita sammies when i am done, not round at all. very square...i make square burritos...could that be a thing? is there a market for this?

Too much stuffing

I used to work in a "western" restaurant out in Banff as a Mexican chef... no panini machine for the buritos. strait roll. long tortillas with the right amount of stuffing.

Another tip is to mince out the ingredient for a better roll.. a bit like weed... you can't roll a perfect cone if the weed ain't grinded properly
