Another young promising prospect given up on too early by the Montreal organization.

McCarron got cut at Team USA summer camp.

Cuts at a summer orientation camp...they sure mean (frank)ing business over there.

Hopes aren't real high considering this prospect. But who knows...maybe he could find a role in the NHL because of his size if he keeps improving.

Indeed. Especially with the US, they've had pretty strong junior teams recently.

I was listening to Renaud Lavoie on 98.5 yesterday (he's annoying but he's one of the most reliable when it comes to inside info on the NHL), and he said the Habs offered 8 years at 8.25M$ on Friday, which was rejected on the spot by Subban's camp. It was also Bergevin who came back on Saturday to resume talks and that's when he offered the 9M$

PK was asking around 10M$ for 8 years

Well Parenteau and DD are good friends. And they are both slow so they might have good chemistry together. Wouldn't be surprised to see Therrien start the year with them together and see how it goes from there.

So PK was greedy.

I can live with that. He's ours for 8 years now.

Good hockey player.

If McCarron plays as many games in the NHL as Komisarek, he will surpass my expectations.

Not sure that has anything to do with either:

A) Being friends with DD; or
B) Being slow

But I believe he will be fine as well.
