No. List at $99.99 in the store, which is a good price to start. Then they had a 20% off everything sale, so ended up paying $80.00. - hscesq

I had to order blades and boots for my son as well.

tried some on, picked each. the guy went to the cash and tried to scan them.
said "I can't find them in the system"
I said "oh"
he said "8 bucks?"
I said "what?"
he said "are you good with 8 bucks? the lowest I have for each in our system is 4 bucks"
I said "yeah"
he said "good"
so I got both for 8 bucks. |

I go there for some things too, like elbow and shoulder bads, shin pads, etc. But skates and helmets I don't mess around. |

Trading Pax would be stupid, too good a contract and noone to replace him upfront.
Like I said, easier to replace a goalie IMO. - fidopro
To get an elite #1 center, you have to draft him. And usually he will be a #1 overall pick. Hard to do for the habs when they usually pick around 15th to 25th.
If Montreal wants to win the cup, I think Bergevin will have to make some bold moves. I would ask about a goalie like Lehner in Ottawa or Gibson in Ahaheim, and make a trade for them and hope that it turn out well like Tampa did with Bishop.
Then I would trade Price to a team I know will finish in the bottom of the standings and hope we land the first overall. Luckily this year there seems to be 2 great forwards with McDavid and Eichel.
I would also trade Desharnais and Plekanec for picks in the upcoming draft. With Galchenyuk and Eller as our 2 centers, we will drop to the bottom of the standings for about 1-2 yrs. Give them some good experience and play time while giving the habs a shot at having a guy like MCdavid to built our team around.
We already have a lot of good young players, but what we need is an elite #1 center. And when a guy like Crosby, McDavid or even MacKinnon is available at the draft, you do all you can do to get him. With McDavid and Galchenyuk as our top centers, Montreal will finally be a cup contender.
It is time for Bergevin to make the habs more then just a playoff team. It's been 20+ years. The cup needs to come home to Montreal.

Absolutely insane. I don't use the new ones as you know, so I get away with it. Faced off last week against a guy using a 5030, which was nice to see. But if my son keeps playing travel, it's going to cost a fortune. |
