Only way I could get my BC on time is online... turns out you need a guauauarauanrour who's a lawyer, doctor, engineer... crap like that.

I remember when I got my BC (the one I have now) downtown in 2000, they gave it to me within minutes. My have times changed.

A couple of years ago my brother needed to get one to renew his passport and join us for Spring Training.

Long story short, his BC was kinda (frank)ed too, in S'toon, they told him he needed a new one. Did the full run-around to get a new one and had to drive to EDM to get the new one.

Went to renew his passport in EDM and they told him they would have accepted his old BC in the condition it was...

Long story shorter, go to another passport office with your old BC, they'll likely use it.

Just figured there's an easier way to replace it, no? Here in TO there's nary a place to do actualy. The one on Sheppard takes 2 months which is too late. How is getting a passport easy after 911 but replacing a BC which I already have impossible even though I've been here all my life?? It's (frank)ing hilarious.

From New York, I got a new Quebec BC online within 10 days. It's not difficult. It's steeficult.

BTW it is to raise awareness last I heard. May have changed.
