Big deal. We have enough 50-60 point players. Habs are full of 2nd line players. When we going to get the 80-100 point player? Been too long since Mats Naslund.

this kind of attitude kills me.

Montreal had TWO forwards who scored more than 41 points last year. and you're telling me we have enough 50-60 point guys?

- DoubleDown

They really couldn't use another one. It would be just useless.

Parenteau 60 points will turn into 35-45 points in Montreal. Basically we have a bunch of 2nd line players.

at 4M$ per, 45 pts is quite alright in today's market.

Captains don't need to be French, only coaches and GMs.

I'm very happy with 3 2nd line and no real #1 line.
They just have to score more than last year, and I think they will.
No way Bourque and Eller can ba as bad as last year.

Understood. That's not the issue. Habs need better top 6 players. A guy who has the potential to score 80-100 points. Only hope is Galchenyuk.

So Bergevin should be fired because he did not get a PPG player for Brière?

They dont have a Carey Price either. Habs are all Subban and Price. Get better players around those 2.

he's been a 55-60 point guy throughout his 300 game career.
until he proves that he's not that kind of player, let's maybe assume that he could be.

Where do you suppose they could get that kind of player? Maybe suck enough this year to draft McDavid ?
