Can you do a 10 best/worst skaters of all time? I want to see where guys like Gino Odjick and Scott Hartnell fall when you throw in the likes of Moose Dupont, Chris Therien, Dan Kordic, and the Hatcher/Rathje connection.
- jmatchett383

When Therien was young, he was a fine skater for a big man (not all that far beneath Coburn today). However, late in his career -- especially by the time of his second stint -- he'd lost mobility.

I was actually thinking that after I typed it. But yes, my more vivid memories are of Therien v2.0 when he possessed the grace of a rhinocerous and the speed of the three-toed sloth.

careful of your hands.............

Ive declined to smash many a face because Ive needed to play. Last time I did punch someone in the face I fractured two knuckles. Playing guitar was a torturous exercise in pain tolerance one would have to experience to actually believe.

I had a puck break my hand/thumb at its base, a B level player was using me as a screen and didnt make it. Altered my ability to wrap my thumb around the neck, which makes me use very thin necks ( Like 1984 USA made in Fullerton 1957 re-issue stratocasters or the Korean Squire II necks)

Can you imagine what the doctor bills for Rathje, Hatcher, and Stevenson were like?

Throw in Forsbergs foot doctor and all the custom skates

You know the minute he pulls on that Flyers sweater, his chances of experiencing a career-debilitating concussion/knee/hip/groin/back/foot issue goes up exponentially, right?

If I remember correctly, didn't he win, or at the very least grade out near the top of both a skating and shooting exhibition held by the team one year?

Won hardest shot, edging out LeClair. Fared well in fastest skater but didn't win.

Yeah, surprising how many D around the league have devastating bombs... but most of those guys have poop slow windups and/or can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Heck, we've still got a couple of those on this team.

Another valid point. Its a wonder if any top flight d-man will ever sign here. Lets hope the kids have asbestos gear. (they will probably die of cancer)

They will need a shortstop in 5 years. After Amaro resigns Rollins to his last contract the kid will be ready as it expires.

No, he choked to death on someone else's vomit.

Really hoping Morin, Haag, and Sanheim are as advertised. The only concerns I have had on this team have been the defense. Hopefully they still have the offensive output to go with it.

I don't know why but I have a very good feeling about this Oskar Lindblom kid. Seems like a very solid late round pick. Also just a feeling but I have high hopes for Bellamare too coming into the season.
- JonnyHammerstix

Let's see if his skating coach he was working with pre-draft pays off during this next season.

Yeah, I'm going to have to watch this again this week.

I'm really influenced by Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a "Mach" piece, really. It's sort of...

What do you call it?

Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump"
