Dalton and all of his celery makes Myers expendable

Rookie season completion %

Dalton 58.1
Manuel 58.8
Tannehill 58.3
Flacco 60.0

There is no huge difference in yards or TD's per game between any of these guys either. It's silly to think IMO that Manuel isn't going to improve like all of these guys did

Over 19 million a year buys a lot of celery ! Is he worth that contract ? I honestly do not follow Cincy close enough to know.

My question is in the 2013 draft who could we have drafted that would be better than EJ and make an impact right away as expected by Bills fans. Biggest mistake in my opinion was not signing a good veteran backup in the off season.

The problem with Manuel is that the very same flaws that held him back at Florida State were magnified at the NFL level. To me, it's not just about stats, it's about where his weaknesses actually lie. Also, what those stats don't indicate are YPC.

I have a feeling they still end up acquiring a veteran. Jeff Tuel playing over Thad Lewis surprised me, which could very well mean they don't plan on keeping one of those two around.

$19 million for a guy that has yet to win a playoff game seems like too much to me.

I wouldn't read (reed, [andre]) too much into that...chris Hogan was in the slot on the 1st team over woods...doubt that's happening come opening day

Manuel played like 80% of the rookies that come into the league.

The notion that you should know after one year exactly what you have is ridiculous. All those guys played very similar to Manuel and all took a leap in year 2.

If Manuel doesn't, he's a bust, however it's 10 games. All of them had flaws

had a money draft at the bar last night
12 team std

this is why you wait and take best player and build your team that way

I raped them, because 4 guys picked the players from their favorite team

picking 4th
qb's romo, cutler, daulton (had to pick daulton with last pick because of the value and he was still on the board

rb's flex peterson, ball, bernard (in 5th), ellington, jennings
wr's dez (in 3rd), cruz, floyd, wallace
te's graham (late second), olsen
d bills
k bailey

this is what an A draft looks like

If Williams catches the pass in the end zone, last night is nothing.

Respectfully disagree, I haven't a seen a thing from him that shows he's going to improve to a level that is difference making. He is what he is and to me that's a below average NFL QB. He was inconsistent in college and I just don't see that changing.

had a seahawk fan, pats fan, dolphin fan and browns fan

all reached early with their picks

and people were being stupid and taking their d and kickers in the 6th and 7th rd

I just set back and collecting the scraps

I expect to pocket a lot of money from that team

So were a lot of starting NFL QB's. With the exception of Luck/RG3 they all have flaws.

Dalton has a weak arm, Flacco is a statue, Tannehill was supposed to be a project.

Tim freaking Tebow won a playoff game, Manuel will absolutely improve. It's asinine to think otherwise IMO.

This isn't a 28 year old Ryan Fitzpatrick that we are praying just all of the sudden gets it, it's a prototypical 6'5 strong arm QB that has accuracy issues.

Sure, but other teams sometimes just make good plays.

The 3rd batted ball was bad.

I have no definitive opinion either way yet

That's not the correct way to comment on HB. How will you
ever start an argument with that ? You are going to confuse
everyone.

You bring up good points.

What I find funny is that Bills nation would be elated if EJ would produce a year like Fitzpatrick had when he was the full time starter here.
