PK too good to get ridden out of town. Also comes to play every game, Not a floater. Larry Murphy was soft has a marshmallow. - mushalain1
Ask a Red Wings fan what they think.
Guy was rode out of town and excelled in Detroit.

Bergevin must be (frank)ing kicking himself that he didn't get a longer contract signed 2 years ago... - lumlums
Had he signed Subban for 5 years in 2013, PK would be facing UFA in 2017. Imagine what he would get then. Can't be so shortsighted. |

In the (frank)ing pre-season? I (frank)ing doubt that.
And the waffles were deserved. Leafs fans deserve better than what we get from the team.

Why? Subban will have played his best years as a Canadien. That's what counts, no? Watch other teams go that route in the future. Since everyone is saying they had to pay the piper, well they did. |

95% of people said 8 years, $8-$9 million per.
Fair deal that will balance itself out as time goes on. - Gary_B.
You better hope that he lives up to it. Given that the start of his career was similar to the startof Dion's (see previous), then MTL has to hope to all hell that his play doesn't fall off... |

People are shortsighted and can't see beyond one year so you're going to see lots of people laughing. These are the same twits than 30 minutes ago we're laughing at the Habs for not signing him. |

No, no. They lowballed him like the classless, not classy, class lacking, disrespectfull classless bumholes that they are.

Subban is a generational player. Dion Phaneuf never was and never will be.

Orr was a generational player. I think it's way too early to call a Subban a generational player. |

$9 Million for a D-man who most analysts consider isn't even that special when it comes to DEFENSE.
Great Offensive D-man if not the best in the league, but TSN said some stat that PK led the league in some turnover category in his own zone followed by Markov. |
