My favorite Malkin goal. Ever. Doing his best Mario imitation vs Brodeur.

Amazing play

That's my favorite one, vs Roloson:

Shades of Mario for sure.

Mario Lemieux classic moments. Very emotional. Hard to believe Jagr turned down his invitation to join the Penguins

The age you start feeling a little bit tired when playing sports lol at least I did

The average age here on this board is probably around 33-34....I'm on this boat.

Yeah I hear ya, gonna be 33 in 2 months!

Kinda makes you wonder how Dupes and Kunitz are gonna hold up this season with top minutes.

They could break down at any moment that's why it is important to have young top 6 options. I do believe Kunitz will fade eventually.

Unsubstantiated cost - $64M for 8 years.

EDIT - now reading $9M AAV from McKenzie. Whoa!

Roger that former Orpik....we just need to trade pouliot or pouliot + to get kuznetsov or mantha. The more i think about it...the more i think we need to do this.

Then sign Hayes..and wait for Kapenen and we don't have this problem anymore. No more hoping and wishing for trades at the deadline to bring in wingers....go young. Keep the balance of vets and youth on D....Kunitz and dupes can slide down to the 3rd line if/when they need to...

Wow.....Subban is making Crosby money. I guess the Habs were concerned and folded. 8 years 72 million. $9M/year.

Cap wise he is but Crosby's first 8 years of his deal will be paying him 86.4M compared to Subban's 72M

Yeah I know.

He is now making the third most annually behind Ovi and Malkin.

That's a rough cap hit for subban. Maybe in 4 years it won't look bad when the cap is up, but I'd much rather have doughty, weber, suter, or Keith over subban. He is good, but not close to the best Dman in the league.

You can't judge it that way. It isn't the same CBA.
