Why are you wasting everyone's time with a silly notion like that?
He's coming to Toronto.
Did you not see that he liked something on Twitter or something about something related to Toronto?
Are you really this obtuse? - Atomic Wedgie
Babcock will lure Stamkos to be a Red Wing.
Anyone not seeing the connection is naïve at the least...

He's had relations, of the sexual variety, in Toronto. |

Holland giving Yzerman a "special incentive" to coax one last favor out of him by convincing Stamkos to come here. |

All these guys will eventually come to Toronto.
Stamkos will be 39
Doughty 42
Subban 41
General Manager Kyle Dubas will do the math and say they still have Corsi value and sign them to 5 year deals |

ahaha funny how when you try to smack talk bozak and i destroy you by bringing up weiss, you realize you've lost the arguement so you try to bring up something completely irrelevant. what does clarkson have to do when comparing bozak and weiss, two centres? okay my turn to bring up something irrelevant, leafs have more cups than the wings, looks like i win! god it is so easy to argue with people that don't know much about hockey. - sensnucksnocups
Dude, you haven't destroyed anything.
Weiss was the #1 UFA center last year.
He didn't disclose that he was injured.
He barely played all year.
He is the wild card this season and he is reported at 100% now.
We shall see. |

I have to admit, I'd divorce myself from the Wings and move outside the TML arena for this group.

every move was made with draft picks only. It's going to happen. |

Ooo. Big boy with NO ARGUEMENT TO BE MADE. Our number one center is Datsyuk. Grind that into your Bozak-obsessed mind, buddy. Our number two? Yeah, Weiss has been injured all year. We haven't see how he's handled yet. And I brought up Clarkson as a comparable contract. Me comparing two bad contracts is much more relevant than you bringing up our number 2 center to your number 1. Give up while you've still got dignity. - YzermanIsTheMan
Datsyuk is one of the premier players in the NHL. No doubt about it.
But he is 36 and like lots of guys on the Wings his best years are behind him.
As an outsider with a lot of respect for the very successful Red Wings franchise I really wonder why you haven't sold your assets while they still have value to start the rebuild.
Unless you seriously think your current roster can win it all, which I can't see happening.

Man, I don't see the Red Wings winning poop with the current roster, in all honesty. I see playoffs as a fringe team this year, maybe second round depending on the match up.
As to why they haven't sold off anything, don't ask me, ask thumb stuck up his bum Ken Holland. The guy is so squirrely the last few years with trades and UFA signings. I did like the Alfie signing last off season, thats really about it. |

The Toronto media would be all PK, all the time.
The guy would have his own TV channel. - Atomic Wedgie

The Wings are always rebuilding....what do you think makes them so successful? The difference between them and other teams is they can still win while they get ready to make another run.
The whole "tear it down" method is only necessary when a team is in the poopter. |
