A Flyers fan today said that he's been watching the World Junior scrimmages and that he literally had no clue who Duclair was a few days ago and now Duclair is one of the best noticeable and standout players in camp. Kids a stud - rangerdanger94
Didn't he have an injury in his draft year? Why he fell to the 3rd round? Usually you don't want to see them but it might go down as one of the best injuries in Rangers history lol |

Yea but I think even before his injury he was playing badly. |

They've apparently made him aware of his opportunity and have all the faith in his abilities, it's funny how a lot of Rangers fans are down on a 21 year old that hasn't even had the chance at a meaningful role on this team, from day one he's shown tremendous poise, the same goes for Conner Allen, I think we're taken care of when it comes to 1st call ups or next man up situations - KreiderBomb
Who is down on Miller other than who
Ever is not putting him on the ice?
As for the top 6 vs bottom 6 I think the team
Showed last year that you can have 3 almost interchangeable
Lines and one 4th. |

Duclair, Buchnevich and Tambellini all third round picks, good use of them by Gord Clark |

Yea you look at some of the powerhouse teams and a large part of their success is 2 dynamite draft picks in 1 year. Anaheim got Getzlaf and Perry, Colorado got Duchene and O'Reilly, Kings got Quick and Kopitar, Blues got Schwartz and Tarasenko, Lightning got Kucherov and Palat (Palat was the 27th pick in the 7th round ), etc. |

So tell me your opinion on McIlrath - rangerdanger94
Not a total bust but for his spot taken in the draft it's got the potential of being Jessiman like |

I feel bad because the Rangers probably won't let him leave the team to compete in the WJC |

Also people were stressing about Miller being a top 6 forward not a bottom 6. Let's face it with AV it's a top 12... Who ever is playing the best gets more ice time. I like Miller behind Stepan and Brassard a lot for his hopefully first full season. |

Yup, hopefully he brings the right attitude to camp this year, gets comfortable playing for the year and see how he progresses. |

Trying to watch some of those games on streams. A line of Ritchie-Reinhart-Duclair killed it against the Czechs. |

God am I ever sick of the "Kreider runs goalies" BS. The video is out there. He's no Sean Avery or any number of other guys who have made careers out of doing crap like that. |

Agree, but I love the attention that he is going to draw on the ice. I just hope he's ready for it. |

It is why I have learned to embrace and love it. If everyone else is gonna label him as one, I hope it keeps happening. |

Staal resign is a no -brainer....top 2 d man in prime past the fluke injuries ...asked to stay in 2nd pair due to right -left d match ups A V prefers...attitude is growing
with vet status ,made stralman alot of money....when home grown is requesting to get it done before season ,it is a family discount option slats should use...
trade for bro (#12 carolina )could be part of negotiating a deal ...get this done asap...
keep hearing of Girardi 's decline ? he was elevated to top 2 when Staal spentpart of 2 seasons down .... last year he paired with Mac to create a tandem to lead into finals .... fell down gm 1 ??? crucified like a buckner dribbler...
IDK ... but as susceptible we are up the middle in centers is a sure we have one of the top 5 dman rotation options i league w/ a Conor Allen getting a shot to work as the 6th defensemen
Moore ? he's part of the trade w/ brassard to get the #1 center we must have to attempt to get back where we belong....FINALS... |
