Just realized the other day that I've been blogging here for 2+ years now

Does time fly.

- Colin Dambrauskas

One of these days I'll get around to reading one.

Soon.

I promise.

If it goes to arbitration, more than likely something similar yes.

I'm still having a hard time believing they won't figure something out.

You brought back some good names there.

I might have said Alomar before the spitting. I don't think there was much more exciting that seeing Devon White pushing for a triple.

I think I would go with Stieb. He had the nastiest slider I have ever seen. Remember him in the all-star game

I only really started to watch the jays in 88-89 ..so for me its Alomar, Devo and Guzman .. I liked Hentgen too

Molitor, Ward, Henke ...fun teams

Did you see the Cardiff Open last night?

Jimmie Jones needed treble 20, treble 20, double 18 to win - steady nerves, and he nailed it!

So exciting...

Believe it or not, I was kinda cold towards WAMCO. Yeah, I climbed on the bandwagon and cheered when they won.

But my favourite teams are still from the mid-late 80s.

Buck and Ernie.

Upshaw, Damo, Tony, Iorg and Mulliniks. Bell, Barfield and Moseby.

Stieb. Key. Leal. Acker. Hell, even Bill Caudill.

And utility infielder Davey Collins. Don't ask me why.

I had this discussion with a friend Tuesday night: if you could get a Blue Jays jersey with a name and number, who would you get?

For me, it would be Stieb, Upshaw or Barfield. Maybe Bell.

Whamco once Henderson came on board.

Can't wait for Bergevin to point out it should be a *Norris during arbitration.

jeeze remember having Ward and Henke in the bull pen and WAMCO as the batting order

I don't think we appreciated at the time just how good those Jays teams were.

That was a pretty stooopid lineup - they had to put Devo at #9.

Not trying to pile on my Montreal friends here, but at this point, I don't see much upside in PK accepting a long-term deal here.

The history of arbitration in the NHL is the players win. Like, complete and utter defeat of management kinda win.

Take the one-year deal, and then start negotiating a long-termer - think about how much more bargaining power he would have.
