Highlight of morning so far: Canadiens fan rides up escalator. Q: Has Subban signed yet? A: No. Q: "Bleep," promptly goes down escalator.

So perfect, that he actually doesn't need a 3rd element to his name

Besides the resons I wrote, I find it hard to put my finger on why I dont like them.

I guess I just don't get the same warm fuzzy feeling that I did back in the days of WAMCO. Back then, I felt like they were all about the team, and winning as a team.

Now, I feel like some key players are playing out the string until they can move on.

That losing skid in June looked WAY too much like last year for me to want to risk throwing more of the future at this core.

- Aetherial

Believe it or not, I was kinda cold towards WAMCO. Yeah, I climbed on the bandwagon and cheered when they won.

But my favourite teams are still from the mid-late 80s.

Buck and Ernie.

Upshaw, Damo, Tony, Iorg and Mulliniks. Bell, Barfield and Moseby.

Stieb. Key. Leal. Acker. Hell, even Bill Caudill.

And utility infielder Davey Collins. Don't ask me why.

I had this discussion with a friend Tuesday night: if you could get a Blue Jays jersey with a name and number, who would you get?

For me, it would be Stieb, Upshaw or Barfield. Maybe Bell.

You brought back some good names there.

I might have said Alomar before the spitting. I don't think there was much more exciting that seeing Devon White pushing for a triple.

I think I would go with Stieb. He had the nastiest slider I have ever seen. Remember him in the all-star game

Since when this board turned into F@#$N baseball buzz??

Baseball is as much a sport as darts and bowling are.

Did you see the Cardiff Open last night?

Jimmie Jones needed treble 20, treble 20, double 18 to win - steady nerves, and he nailed it!

So exciting...
