Just a matter of time until he gets kung-fu kicked by Elvis Stojko.

So, was it for the money, free Maple Leaf tickets, fulfilling overly harsh community service requirements, or is Cuthbert either a huge @#$#@ masochist? an insider working for the Canadiens, a spittoon collector, and/or is practicing celibacy until Phaneuf is finally and mercifully committed?)

(P.S. of course an intellectual collosus like Cuthbert is obviously stimulated by Phaneuf's cerebral supremacy, so that would certainly explain things )

MDZ agent has said he is not going to Canucks and has not even had serious talks with them.
- VANTEL

Of course he's not - Hamhuis, Edler, Bieksa, Tanev, Sbisa, Stanton, Corrado - the d is fine. Especially since Hamhuis, Edler, Sbisa and Stanton are lefties.

The rumour was pulled out his arse.

Is it just me or would anyone else like to see some spots up for grabs and some rookies go through a learning curve instead of the same old players we have had for years.

Also wondering how many Canucks fans watch games other then Canucks game? Not being in BC, alot of the time I don't get to see the Canucks play. Maybe 30 games a year I will see and two times a year when they go play the jets.

I like the logo, but the sweater is a little too green.

Sounds like Bo's going to get a serious look. I think Corrado will as well. I liked his game when he was called up. Nothing flashy, but seemed quite steady.

But I think it's going to be a stretch for any of the recent drafties to make it - maybe Hunter.

That being said, one year in Utica won't hurt anyone. I like the draft picks from the past two seasons, no need to rush them if they're not ready.

I felt that way at first when the stars rolled out their new jerseys - but it grew on me.

I wouldn't like it as the primary but would as the third.

I think that letting our best prospects getting games at the start of the season is something we should be doing every year before sending to junior. Pre season is nowhere near regular season and even giving a prospect 10 minutes a game for their 9 games and sending them back helps them really see the difference and does help them learn much more then going back to chl and dominating for season after season.

I agree, depending on how many guys we're talking about, and especially if there is anyone to replace them on the roster in the chance they are returned to junior.

Thanks for all the lively logo discussion and some great design possibilities. I really like the vivid new green in the Stars jerseys as well—wouldn't mind seeing a colour like that get incorporated at all.

Just posted a new blog with a positive news on Jake Virtanen's rehab:
