Start from scratch to design yet another new logo for the Canucks? Why start from scratch when they already have a logo in their system, as part of their identity package, that is already accepted by the majority of the fanbase. The Johnny V logo. I love the Johnny V logo more than any of the other current Canucks logos. IMO that Johnny V logo is the best logo in Canucks history.

Orca logo:
Always have disliked it, I just got used to it.

Skate logo (Plate of Spaghetti):
It was a tolerable logo, but design wise it was terrible.

Stick in rink logo:
A classic logo, love it, but IMO it's better suited as a shoulder patch than a jersey crest/primary logo.

Johnny V logo:
Awesome!!! I loved it the moment I first saw it.

The Johnny V logo is the perfect representation for the franchise moving forward. I really don't have any faith in the franchise finding a better logo than that if they were to go back to the drawing board and start from scratch.

Nice summation. I really like the Johnny Canuck logo but, as some posters mentioned previously, it does seem a little too cartoonish for an NHL franchise. I would love if the Giants changed to that logo.

Perhaps they should have an open bid/proposal for local artists and then let the fans have some input in choosing the top 3?

He was chewing tobacco and spitting it everywhere including the greens. One guy went up to him and said Hey buy can you stop spiriting that stuff everywhere. Dion replied Why don't you go fuk yourself. The guy and his friends kicked Dions ass.

I was laughing through the whole story.

i've always been kind of perturbed that when they went back to these colors (which i think are awesome, btw) they used the awful logo from the ugly uniforms.

I just don't get the fascination with that guy. A giveaway machine with a high pitched voice. Must be a Toronto thing.

I think the slanted skate is classic, it has a lot of energy, it's unique, it's instantly recognizable and has a solid history. Stick in rink is a bit too bland, the shape is bleh,and a hockey rink and stick doesn't really say anything about a team's identity, to me it says "we are a hockey team" and nothing else.
